General Description:

A CSR is an individual of impeccable integrity who unconditionally subscribes to the company's mission and high ethical standards. The representative is courteous and respectful and will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls from prospective and existing customers and offer products and services
  • Make recommendations based on cost, availability or specifications
  • Quote and provide information regarding availability of in-stock items, shipment date and expected dates of delivery
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
  • Verify credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profile
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as need
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints
  • Respond to customer concerns and address complaints; follow up as appropriate; refer unresolved grievances to management for further investigation
  • Setup and maintain customer files; data entry as appropriate
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
  • Communicate to other departments as necessary and make recommendations based on customer feedback
  • Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate and participate in sales programs and if necessary participate in trade show activities and onsite visits with sales executives

  • Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and distribution software
  • Ability to be a team player and must be able to work independently / self starter
  • Be able to pass back ground check and alcohol / drug test.
  • Clear, professional and pleasant speaking voice
  • Candidate must be able to speak clear English – Bilingual preferred

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associates degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar position preferred
